Thach Thanh - Thanh Hoa
It is known that Thach Thanh is a mountainous district located in the north of Thanh Hoa Province. Currently, the district has 25 administrative units, including two towns (Kim Tan and Van Du) and 23 communes. Kim Tan Town is unique as it had to harbor Thanh Kim Commune in December 2019, where agriculture accounts for over 50%, and the average monthly income is only about 6-7 million VND. There are a total of six schools in Kim Tan Town, including two kindergartens, two primary schools, and two secondary schools. Due to its mountainous location, all the schools face many difficulties in terms of infrastructure.

Our Initiatives
With the desire to help students gain confidence and explore self identity and potential, the project’s members worked very hard to design numerous workshops to help students understand and protect themselves. Notably, the project also featured a school-wide seminar with a psychological expert and career advisor. The expert’s insights sparked discussions about the students’ dreams, helping them gain more confidence and clarity about their future paths.
Connect To Empower
The bond between the school’s 1400 students and 23 members of the Chalk Road Project have forced deep and lasting memories, already sparking excitement and enthusiasm for their next reunion, expectedly early 2025. The dedication and passion of Chalk Road members will definitely become unforgettable memories because “What is given from the heart will find its way to reach the hearts.”
